Overview
Young communist militant, leader of the student movement, precocious journalist, employee at Enel, disillusioned rebel, black sheep escaped from the system, emigrated in search of fortune, scrupulous translator, linguistic experimenter, fine craftsman of narrative construction, coherent and authentic writer. Sergio Atzeni was all this and much more, one of the most interesting and singular narrators of the second half of the Italian twentieth century, who died in 1995 when he had not yet turned 43.
