Overview

An English novelist, marginalized by life in the UK, set off to France 30 years ago in search of solitude. Filmed throughout the seasons of one year, we find Dexter living in a yurt in a Normandy forest. This hypnotic glimpse into proximity with nature, highlights the transient and non-permanent, questioning our whole approach to existence by asking, “How can we, how should we, live with nature?”
