Limerence

Overview

As capitalism runs rampant in an outdated world, the owner of a sweet shop abuses her access to gelatinous goods, rotting out her teeth in hopes of returning to a handsome dentist. Limerence is a mixed-media short film inspired by a tendency towards obsession, a knack for imbalance, and an overwhelming, but warranted fear of societal collapse. It is about fulfilling a craving for purpose in some way, no matter how destructive.
