Overview
"Assemblage", by Jean-Teddy Filippe between 1986 and 1989, of 13 fake documentaries based on supposed supernatural or unexplained phenomena. The hoax was revealed after the broadcast of the last episode by Jean-Claude Carrière; the director's goal was to demonstrate the power of television and the ease with which a documentary with an amateurish appearance can have an impact on popular consciousness.
