Overview

Shot in different formats (16mm, DV, digital, 35mm), the film collects gestures, voices, and rituals through which the performers reclaim places and architecture. Along the shores of the Atlantic, artists such as Fabienne Guilbert, Léonce Konan Noah, Ife Day, and Daniel Galicia inhabit ruins as living archives, where non-Western deities resurface through desire. This is the version of Le Daftar specially edited for the Italian streaming platform MYmovies ONE during the 18th edition of the film festival “Lo schermo dell'arte 2025”.
