Overview
After a series of apparitions and miracles, the locals attributed Lazarito miraculous status to him, built a shrine at the site of his tragic death, and held an annual celebration, organizing a gathering of thousands of believers in the powers and favors of the popular saint from the region and neighboring provinces.
