Overview

Amour and Max live together. They are roommates in a small apartment in Noumea. Max has just turned 30. He no longer accepts people to call them Maketalena. Amour had an operation 30 years ago so that people would never call them Pierre again. Amour, like a mother, accompanies Max in their gender transition. Day after day, Max builds their identity. Amour tries to convince them to make a foundational journey that would bring him back to their cultural and family roots.
