Overview

The ritual of mourning a loss involves not only traditional rites, but also a change in perspective and a reinterpretation of the experience, which for me comes through ornithology. In La visita de un pájaro (The Visit of a Bird), I propose a kind of poetic manual on an initiation into the world of birds, from observing them to ringing them, traversing the empty spaces, the gestures, and the landscape of this entire environment.
