Overview

As its name suggests, the documentary deals with the duality of religious beliefs in the Andes. It explores the duality and struggle that existed in the Peruvian Andes, primarily in Cusco, between the Roman-Christian gods brought by the Spanish and the gods of the Tawantinsuyu (Inca Empire). Did supernatural miracles exist before the arrival of the Spanish? Did original sin exist before their arrival? Did saints exist? This socio-religious phenomenon remains unresolved to this day and manifests itself as a perpetual, underlying conflict.
