Overview

Why, if we're surrounded by pigs, do we continue to perform? The story of Lou, a young actress who is stressed during her first performance in front of an audience. Her friend, Emily, reassures her backstage: “He'll be proud of you.” Lou goes on stage and plays Antigone. When she looks at the audience, she sees her father sitting in the middle of the room. Next to him is her best friend... a pig. Lou resumes her lines, speaking as Antigone, but is interrupted by the pig's applause. When she looks at the audience again, she sees them all transformed into pigs. She tries to continue her speech at all costs; the audience begins to applaud. She recites it louder and louder, until she starts shouting. Her father, still human, stands up and applauds her. Lou takes a bow.
