Overview

The Dance of the Thrush is a documentary filmed in the department of Junín, in central Peru, where the Huaylarsh is the representative dance. The beautiful scenes correspond to the 2013 Carnival, celebrated in this region between February and March, where the population, from children to adults, passionately embraced their traditions, especially the young people, who participated in the competitive contests for both the Traditional and Modern Huaylarsh.
