Overview
Mustafa Kemal, who was serving in the 7th Army on the Road to Independence, resigned after sending a telegram objecting to the order not to resist the approaching British army, and came to Istanbul. Mustafa Kemal, who met with officers he knew and trusted at the house where his mother, Zübeyde Hanım, also lived, set out from Istanbul to Samsun to start the resistance. The Road to Independence, which tells the story of Mustafa Kemal and the collective struggle of the Anatolian people during the national struggle, narrates the period from Mustafa Kemal's departure from Istanbul to the liberation of Izmir in a fluid style, using the dramatic language of theater, and draws the audience into the national struggle period for 60 minutes.
