Overview

The story pays homage to the Langa and Sharpeville Massacres, which took place on March 21, 1960 in apartheid South Africa. The plot revolves around a young dancer who is arrested for having an expiration date on her notebook. The year is 1960 and, due to Influx Control in the country, hundreds of people are being arrested for finding themselves in regions where they no longer have permission to be. During her time in prison, she is tormented by the memory of others who were imprisoned in the same cell as her. She is later released and a third generation of her descendants visit the penitentiary center where she was imprisoned.
