Overview
Incunabulum emerged from a fictional manifesto (transcribed below) which characterises the digital image as a form of undead life. The film is assembled from generating and obliterating images gathered from multiple sources in a process inspired by the scientific investigations of Mary Shelley’s Victor Frankenstein: “I saw how the worm inherited the wonders of the eye and the brain”
