How to Ask Her to Be Your Girlfriend tells the story of Lucas, an 11th grade guy who has a crush on his friend Jacqueline. The high school Halloween dance is coming up, so Lucas wants to ask Jackie to go with him, and to do it, he uses a five step tutorial to ask a girl to be your girlfriend. Fallon, Lucas's best friend, is also going to help him complete the steps in the tutorial, but as Lucas advances in his relationship with Jackie, Fallon begins to have feelings for Lucas. Now Fallon has to figure out how to get Lucas to notice him, and he decides to use the same tutorial.
