Overview
In Hermione, I combined the biographies of Simone de Beauvoir, Twyla Tharpe, Dorothy Parker, Vera Nabokov, and Hilda Dolittle to tell a woman's story in an unnamed, multiple "I." By turning an external biography into an internal autobiography, I attempt to take universalist stories and lend them the language of the confessional. (Nina Yuen)
