Overview
A sun-blasted motel in the desert lays like a wound that never closed. A family thinks they’ve inherited a business; what they’ve actually been handed is an appetite—ancient, patient, and learning them from the inside out. The walls breathe at night. The plumbing runs thick. Guests don’t check out; they’re slowly rewritten—skin first, then memory, then name—until even the desert forgets they were ever there.
