Margarita, an elderly Shawi woman, keeps alive one of her people's most sacred traditions: bringing new life into the world. Her knowledge, forged over the years and through the power of plants, is vital to her community, but the lack of young people willing to continue her legacy threatens the survival of this ancestral wisdom.
