Growling Mountains

Overview

In Nepal, in the foothills of the Himalayas, the metal scene is vibrant. Since its beginnings at the end of the 90s when only a few groups existed, it has grown and today has about forty active groups throughout the country. In 2017 and 2018, director Aurore Laurent met five of the actors of this underground movement: a new generation of Nepalese who want to free themselves from the traditions and violence that the country has known for the past twenty years.
