Overview

The story is about Ainal Naim, a graduate of Sultan Idris Training College, Kuala Kangsar, who along with other intelligent Malays is determined to fight for the independence of Malaya. Cik Izah is a student of Kampung Baru Girl's School and also the adopted granddaughter of a former Chief Judge. Ainal Naim has opened Cik Izah's heart to think about the future and society in Malaya. The British have imprisoned the intelligent Malays including Ainal Naim. Tukwan, who initially opposed the relationship between Cik Izah and Ainal Naim, has changed his mind and consented to their relationship after reading a letter from Ainal Naim sent from prison. So what is the outcome?
