Overview
A dreamscape of 20th century industry portends disaster. As miners toil, fish swim by and naked bodies hang in a row; a scarred glass tower rises bloodily from the sea; waves crash and snakes roil. This surreal video uses a vast array of video techniques to suggest the relationship between human labour and ecological demise. Includes unauthorized footage shot in a Saskatchewan mine miles below the earth's surface.
