Overview
All of the three [Sandy] films that we know – Lumière et ombre (1928), Prétexte (1928), and Essais cinematographiques (1928) – last barely more than ten minutes in total, but bear witness to a certain originality in the context of the French avant-garde of the 1920s. The films were subtitled by Sandy as "Visual Entertainment".
