Overview

Living in a small town in northeastern China, Wu was once head of the workshop of the town’s wool mill but lost this supposedly life-long job when the mill went bankrupt, and worked as a janitor in his nephew’s bar to make a living. With his wife gone and his son living elsewhere, Wu was gradually despised by people around him as he started drinking his days away.
