Overview

The wholesale market of Lima, called La Parada, is the setting for the ambitions of a couple who own a food stall. The young man wants to leave Lima and start a new life in the province, farming the land. But his partner opposes these plans, as she believes they have already achieved a certain status and position, even if it means working in this immense market, populated by colorful characters always ready for a Creole celebration.
