Overview
The documentary is a portrait of a wild land, Europe's largest ecological reserve, a place where the migratory routes of more than 300 species of birds intersect, coming and going with the seasons. It is the story of a forest that grows around a marsh formed between the Atlantic Ocean and the banks of the Guadalquivir River. It is home to some of the most endangered wildlife species on the planet. A place where abundance is followed by long periods of scarcity. A place where water is sacred.
