Overview

Germany is a country of contrasts. On the one hand, there's urbanization, extremely dense transport routes, industry, and intensive agriculture. But for a few years now, there's also been wilderness here – with unfettered natural development. Emerging from industrial wastelands or abandoned military training areas. And in the midst of it all, there's even a large predator, feared by some: the wolf. The documentary delves deep into this new wilderness, from which many animals benefit.
