Overview
School is not yet prepared to welcome differences. For this reason, the elementary and high school period is often challenging for LGBTQIA+ people - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transgender and diverse. It is during the educational journey that issues such as body, sexuality, and affectivity begin to surface, generating a series of conflicts. What is the space in school for those who do not fit into the heterosexual and cisgender pattern?
