Overview
Between April and June of 1989 the eyes of the world were on Tinanmen Square in Beijing, China, as a series of protests against the ruling Communist Party broke out. The events reached a terrible climax in June as the military opened fire on many of the demonstrators, killing hundreds of people. This program analyzes the activities of the protestors and the military machine that tried to stop them.
