Overview
In the distant past, the Netherlands was often at war with other nations - overseas as well. Thus it happened that in 1634 a number of Caribbean islands were conquered from Spain. Since that time, Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten, Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius belong to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The six islands are vastly different from each other, but for centuries have shared their bond with the Netherlands. This dvd is showing the Antilles in their full glory and from a historical perspective. In this the development of the separate islands, the magnificent nature and the life of the inhabitants are playing a key role. Discover the most exotic spots of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, seen by many as beautiful like paradise and exceptionally pleasant
