As tensions continue to rise regarding LGBT equality on social and political levels, a documentary of this kind is energizing and enlighten to the LGBT community. The D.C. Eagle stood as a pillar in the LGBT community for over 4 decades, the times in which LGBT rights and freedoms were greatly challenged. The D.C. Eagle owners and patrons stood to fight, in numbers, the mounting issues that plagued the community.
