Overview

The Great Depression saw thousands of Americans going to the Soviet Union for the promise of work. First treated as heroes, they soon became victims of Stalin's paranoia: some were executed and others died of starvation in labour camps. Using KGB files, declassified documents and interviews with the survivors, this film tells what happened to the lost victims of Stalin.
