Overview

Parts of the female body, filmed in the light of a self-made strobe, are multiply exposed and flicker as they perform a graphical dance. In this work, reminiscent of the animation of Norman McLaren, Nakamura’s fetishism transcends physical eroticism and is dedicated to creating abstract visual pleasure. The music, evoking the gamelan, was composed with a computer program that Nakamura personally designed. (CJC, 2020).
