Overview

A short documentary about the rise of Uruguayan indie band Carmen Sandiego, following the transformation of the project created by Flavio Lira and Leticia Skrycky from a small lo-fi duo into one of the most distinctive acts in Montevideo’s underground music scene. Built from archival footage, home recordings, rehearsals, and testimonies from friends and collaborators, the film revisits the band’s earliest concerts, the DIY recording process behind their first EPs, and the emotional and artistic evolution that shaped their sound as the group gradually became a full band.
