Overview
After the Japanese invaders captured Handan in 1938, they massacred the locals and constructed massive artillery structures. After witnessing the Japanese army's atrocities, a 12-year-old kid named Nianzi converted his anguish into strength. He battled in secret against the Japanese army and traitors, eventually destroying the artillery installation under the command of the Communist Party's Eighth Route Army.
