Overview

In the mid-1980s, a young girl in war-engaged Kurdistan tries to learn music solely by ear. Her family suppresses her grits. Despite these struggles, as the air raid siren blares, she chooses not to follow her family to the shelter—a decision made to taste a few moments of freedom, even at the cost of her life.
