Overview
In the remote, snow-covered mountains of South Korea, a young woman seeks escape from the city and the weight of her past. On the brink of ending her life, she stumbles upon a middle-aged woman who recognizes her despair and invites her into her secluded, snow-bound home. There, she is introduced to a world where survival is intertwined with tradition—chopping wood, preparing fish and tofu for winter, and listening to tales of mountain spirits. As the older woman shares her unique perspective on life and the natural world, the young woman gradually begins to see beyond the cold and darkness. In the heart of winter, she confronts the harsh chill, finding warmth and discovering the promise of spring hidden within.
