My nan, a face in the crowd, pictured on a record sleeve from 1978. A hunt for her in live footage, lost in sea of dancing strangers and bright lights. Her 80th birthday party, stood out in the crowd of shining lights and friendly faces. Hurtling through fragments of documented history and space to place faces where they might have been at one point.
