Overview

Sinjar was one of the two main settlement areas of the Yazidis. On 3 August 2014, the Islamic State occupied Sinjar. An estimated 200,000 people fled the region. Those who could not escape sought protection in the Sinjar Mountain. They could leave the mountain one week later through an escape corridor. The film tells the story of the corridor and the invasion of the city.
