Overview
Astral America is a poetic short film about living in the age of simulation. It captures scenes from the United States, the land of hyperreality, contrasted with a reading of Jean-Michel Baudrillard’s America. “America is neither a dream nor a reality. It is a hyperreality. It is a hyperreality because it is a utopia which has behaved from the very beginning as though it were already achieved.” Directed by Eli Morin
