But those who actually build them remain anonymous… This hard-hitting documentary is set in the city of Pune, home to Asia’s highest number of new apartments builds, and regarded as the death capital for India’s construction workers. Behind this shabby reality lie shocking figures—75% of Indian migrant labourers are Dalits, Adivasis and Muslims who, located at the bottom the social heap, undertake risky work for low wages and live mostly in unhygienic, hazardous camps.
