Overview
The history of Armenia is often summarized solely by the massacre of two-thirds of its population a century ago. Since then, tensions have been redirected toward a new land of martyrdom: Nagorno-Karabakh. This Armenian enclave within Azerbaijan has been periodically exposed to gunfire since 1988. Now emptied of its population, Azerbaijan is extending its destruction of all traces of Armenian culture by attacking monuments and churches. "Anmoruk" means forget-me-not in Armenian, a flower that must not be forgotten.
