Overview
When grief becomes obsession. After losing her husband under mysterious circumstances, Farah clings to his memory through the saplings he brought to their kitchen garden. But when rats threaten the fragile plants, and a land buyer threatens her home, Farah’s devotion spirals into dangerous obsession. It is shot during Kashmir’s bleakest season, deliberately stripping away the region’s famous beauty to focus on something rarely seen in Indian cinema: the inner life of a Kashmiri woman, not the postcard landscape around her.
