Overview

Radio, in the 1980s, sparked a revolution and was a surprise to people. On the other hand, a common man, Neelagara Madappa, sang the history of Manteswami. One town, one God, its folklore, the humanity outside the town, the innocence of Madappa who lived it, beer, ganja, meat - with all these, the people of the town would sit bewitched with divinity. How did such a person as Madappa get stuck in the magic of radio? How did he pass on his original folklore to the next generation? Did the globalization of radio and its culture change the lifestyle and culture of Madappa?
