Overview

A young couple's newly married life is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of the baby of her ex-girlfriend, who has given birth to her husband's child and died. The young daughter-in-law must choose between becoming a stepmother or divorcing her husband. The girl chooses the former, and their complicated life story begins. The girl gives birth to two children of her own and lives with her husband and stepdaughter for more than 10 years. In the meantime, the stepmother punishes the stepdaughter by selling her to hard labor in the household and beating her for no apparent reason.
