Overview
Ever since he was young, just like his grandfather and his father before him, Hans Petur has lived in total isolation, working as the lighthouse keeper of Akraberg — one of the most remote rocks in Europe, in the Faroe Islands archipelago. Now that his final day of service has finally come, on the last night of wind and emptiness that awaits him, Hans must decide whether retirement is truly a reward, or if what he really longs for is nothing more than the adventure of that perfect solitude — timeless and companionless.
