Overview
Every on Sunday, myriads of Philippines ladies abounds in the central zone of Hong Kong island with an incredible population density of sixteen thousand persons per square kilometer. They spend all day long sitting on the shades in groups of twos and threes with the spaces in plazas or parks as well as in the narrow spots between skyscrapers, stairs, overpasses and the like. Most of them are called 'amah' by Hong Konites as the meaning of Philippine housemaids.
