Overview

A slice-of-life documentary about an African American woman named Shirley Sprinkles, who divorces her husband and his uniform sewing shop to start her own shop. Filmed over a three week period, Shirlley Sprinkles attempts to fight a zoning violation, care for her four children, and establish her business, dreaming of her independence and autonomy.
