Overview

In four years, from 1904-1908, tens of thousands of Herero people of Namibia were killed by the German Empire. The experience of one family is described by a descendant, a 23-year-old Herero woman named Georgina. She has a fair complexion and a green tinge to her eyes. Georgina is aware of the fact that her great-grandmother was raped by a German soldier and now wants to confront the demons of her own genetic past.
